Extra-Curricular Activities

A variety of enrichment classes are available after school for interested students to enroll. Options vary depending upon student ages and program availability. These courses are fee based, with payment made directly to the vendor. No grades are given for participation in these programs.

Amazing Athletes

Amazing Athletes is a year-round program designed to teach your child the basic fundamentals and mechanics of different sports while mastering 7 key areas of motor development. For grades K-3rd.

Band

Students in grades 4 and up, beginning and intermediate lessons in flute, clarinet, trumpet, and percussion. Students must provide their own instrument and music. Recitals are in January and May.

Choir

The Phoenix Choir performs at the City of Folsom’s Annual Christmas Tree Lighting. All grades welcome.

Chess

Join U.S. Chessmates each week for chess lessons. All grades welcome.

Cooking

Learn how to make tasty treats using easy to follow recipes. All grades welcome.

Earth Club

Students engage in fun, hands-on activities to learn about recycling and helping the planet. Open to Kindergarten and First Grade students.

Girl Scouts

Girl Scouts builds girls of courage, confidence, and character, who make the world a better place. Open to girls who are the same age as the Phoenix Troup.

Hip Hop

Jazzerettes come to Phoenix once a week to teach students choreographed dances. Families enjoy their two recitals. All grades welcome.

Robotics

LEGO Robotics is offered to students in Grades K-5th. Students meet in their grade level teams. Robotics is also offered as an elective for Grades 4-8.

STORM Kids

Special Team Of Role Models – Come learn Character Development, Self-Control, Confidence, Respect, Integrity, Self-Discipline, and Leadership. All grades welcome.

Young Rembrandts

Inspire your child’s love of art. A new lesson every session. Sessions run for 10 weeks. Grades K-6th.
